Where we work
Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, North Port, Englewood and the communities in between. Every estimate happens at the house, so there is no office to visit.
Before you call
If you can, note which room the problem shows up in and what the weather was doing at the time.
Useful things to have ready
- The roof type: shingle, tile, metal, or a flat section
- The year it was last replaced, if you have it
- Which room shows the problem, and how it has changed
- Whether it appeared after a particular storm
- Any letter or deadline from an insurance company
- Whether the house has solar panels or a pool cage attached at the roofline
Missing some of that is fine. People often call knowing only that the ceiling is wet, and that is enough to get a visit arranged.
Reaching us after a hurricane
Phone networks around Charlotte Harbor can be patchy for days after a major storm, and call volume is many times normal. If you cannot get through, send the form with your street address and a short description, and try the phone again later in the day.
Say clearly whether rain is entering the living space. That one fact decides where Port Charlotte Roofing places a property in the order of visits, ahead of roofs that are damaged but still keeping water out.
Questions people ask us
How quickly will I hear back after sending the form?
Messages are answered in the order they arrive, by a person and by phone. With an active leak, please phone and do not wait on a written reply.
Is there a charge for coming out to look?
You will be told when the visit is booked whether any charge applies to it, and what it covers. The cost of any repair or replacement is given in writing before work is agreed.
Can I text or email photographs?
Yes. Pictures taken from the ground or from inside the attic hatch are helpful. Please do not climb onto the roof to take them.
Do you serve Punta Gorda and North Port?
Yes, both, along with Englewood, Rotonda West and the communities between them and Port Charlotte.
